A live, movement-based performance piece exploring the relationship between an artist and the manifestation of her animated creation. The performance piece results directly in the creation of a dancer, the artist’s nautical Apsara, whose movements propel the film forward past the involvement of the creator. The film itself is dark in mood, yet celebratory in tone. The combination of these elements result in a stunning visual experience that leaves the audience inspired.
